He served in the military Mar 28, 1777 to Apr 1, 1780.⁽⁴⁰⁾ Capt John Burnham's Co., Col Michael Jackson regiment; Continental Army pay account for service from April 1, 1777 to Dec 31, 1779; residence Woolwich; credited to town of Rowley; enlistment three years; also Capt John Bayley's co., Col Jackson's reg; pay roll for a service from date of enlistment March 28, 1777, to May 26, 1777, 2 mos, 4 days; also Capt Burnham's co., Col Jacksons regiment; Continental pay accounts for service from Jan 1, 1780 to April 1, 1780.

service at Woolwich He was married to Mehitable ROBINSON in Woolwich, Sagadahoc, Maine.

65. Mehitable ROBINSON died on 7 Oct 1812 in Woolwich, Lincoln, Maine. She was buried in Woolwich, Lincoln, Maine. 2-6-96: Given the date in which she died, my guess is that Mehitable was probably buried in a family plot on the land of James & Jane Todd Blair on Chop's Point. There are no markers or known graves of Mehitable in the Partridge Cemetary, local to James Jr. homestead. Children were:

iii. Thomas BLAIR.
iv. Joshua BLAIR.
v. Samuel BLAIR.
